It’s back for it's eighth year – make some noise for Bristol Sea Shanty Shout! We’re proud to be partnering once again with High & Dry Shanty Crew for Bristol Sea Shanty Shout 2026.

Join us in the Great Eastern Hall in Brunel Square on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, and enjoy a free concert from twelve of the best sea shanty crews from the region. We'll also be serving plenty of food and drink, so you'll have all the energy required for a good ol' fashioned sing-along.

It’s not just about shanties – Bristol Sea Shanty Shout has raised thousands for local and national charities thanks to the generous support of attendees. Proceeds from this year's festival will support Somerset Prostate Support Association (SPSA).

Helping men aged 40 and over to access early testing, this amazing initiative can lead to life‑saving early diagnoses. SPSA specialises in running free, discreet testing events across Somerset, supported entirely by volunteers and charitable donations. Early detection remains critical, with thousands of men diagnosed every year and no national screening programme in place - making community‑funded events like Bristol Sea Shanty Shout especially vital.

A ticketed evening concert will take place at Underfall Yard on Saturday evening (7pm to 11pm) – book your tickets in advance (50% of proceeds will go towards SPSA).
