Introducing our new museum
How many museums can claim they've travelled the world? Step inside and discover interactive exhibitions, digital recreations, historic artefacts and new community-led research uncovering voices and stories from SS Great Britain's 41 years of service. We like to think of it as the ultimate boarding experience.
Drawing on decades of research and the Brunel Institute's remarkable archive of over 75,000 original drawings, letters and artefacts, the museum has been developed in close collaboration with local community groups and researchers - bringing fresh eyes and new voices to the history of this extraordinary ship.
