The new SS Great Britain museum

Last chance to support Bristol’s new museum – opening July 18th!

New SS Great Britain Experience Museum

With most of the funding already secured, we now need to raise the final £55,000.

By supporting us in our final push, you’ll help open the doors to a museum that will inspire generations. We’re calling on visitors, local businesses, supporters worldwide and the people of Bristol to get involved.

The reimagined Dockyard Museum will form part of the expanded SS Great Britain Experience which will tell the personal stories of passengers who travelled aboard the SS Great Britain to New York, San Francisco, Australia, India and the Falkland Islands. These journeys shaped lives across the globe, and here in Bristol.

raise the final £55,000

We need All Hands on Deck to raise the final £55,000 and bring the redesigned museum and new community hub to life. This project belongs to everyone, and we’re inviting our whole community to play a part.
